Giulia Solinas, Ph.D.
Giulia Solinas is Assistant Professor at ISTO since March 2018. She also serves as a coordinator for the MBR program of the LMU Munich School of Management (2018-). Giulia graduated with a Ph.D. in Strategy in 2016 from Bayes Business School of the City University of London and with a Ph.D. in Business Administration in 2013 from the University of Verona (IT). From 2015 on, Giulia worked as an assistant professor in Strategy at the University of Liverpool Management School (UK). In addition, she was visiting fellow at Copenhagen Business School and St. Gallen University.
Giulia’s research covers topics such as strategic organization design and firms’ digital strategies, focusing on the management of platforms. On these topics, she is active within the academic community, organizing workshops and participating in digital research networks, such as the Knowledge and Innovation interest group of the Strategic Management Society and the DFG Network Digital Strategizing. Her work has been published in the Academy of Management Discoveries.
